This is not about music, that's for sure.

It's funny how times and perceptions have changed within the last 40 years. What was once at the time cute; may, or would be deemed disturbing today.

While answering a post in the music section yesterday about annoying songs, one came to mind immediately and the was "Sweet Pea", by Tommy Roe. When I got a copy to post to show how annoying it sounded, I just thought that the video appeared disturbing in today's times. It almost looked as though Tommy Roe was a pedophile.

It just goes to show you that what at one time innocent, can now be interpreted as disturbing. I'm not sure, maybe it's just me. Anyway, you be the judge :icon_thumleft

Trust me, I'm in need of that too. The point is that in the 60's this was pretty much innocent and harmless, but by today's standards this boarders some disturbing tendencies.

I know there were alot of Teen Magazines back then
with adults on the Covers.
for the most part I suppose they were innocent and harmless,
but in a world where things are not what they appear
your right.

12 & 13 year olds should not be even thinking
about adults as "Heart throbs"

In reverse Movies do the same thing.
30 year old Men & Women
playing High school students
& children thinking of
them in romantic ways
seriously though, Just because they
put Pigtails on a 30 year old washed up
actress, it dosn't make her Cute

Exactly.. Years ago I would have thought nothing of that video, just harmless. Today when I see him stroking her hair and whispering in her hear, I found it creepy. I can only imagine what he may have said "Like change, or candy little girl". Then again, that's today's times unfortunately
