Hi Folks,

There is this place in a city park. It is between a public
swimming pool and a tennis court, and it's surrounded
by asphalt parking.

I have hunted it a little, but never hunted it hard and
never covered much of it. That's because it is very
difficult to hunt. It has dark gravel, which is real positive.
It also has a lighter colored gravel which is real negative.
That is mixed in with tha native soil which is mild to
moderate.

Even with my Vaquero, I was not able to get but a few
inches of depth in most places.

I hunted it this morning and got about 1/3 of tha way
done. I was sore and defeated. It's really hard ta dig,
and all I found was trash and a little clad.

I ate and took a nap. I got up and headed back out
there. It defeated me again. I was really sore then.

Went back home and ate some more.

After school was out, I took my son over to his girl-
friends house to study. ( yaw right )

I decided I was gonna finish that spot. I just couldn't
leave it not done.

I didn't expect to find anything. I just wanted ta get it
done.

Then I found a silver lookin ear ring. At least that was
somethin.

On my next pass I found a 14k gold tennis racket
pendant. I could not believe my eyes. But there it
was.

Tha stone is not a diamond. ( darn )

But it weighs 2.3 grams, and that is a good payday.

But, it's so pretty, I'm not sure if I'll sell it...? I could
just put it on a small chain and keep it.

It sure turned a dreary day into a great day. Funny
how that works...lol

Here is all tha stuff I dug.
