Third Search at a River Park Beach

I'm sure this park is searched by local hunters but I need the practice. At the waters edge the Garrett 750 was beeping an awful lot with no confirmation on additional sweeps...

Did pull a few rusty nails from the beach! Some other trash and a few clad. Broken ring which I believe is trash and a sinker!

Lessons learned: Hunting without a real pinpointer is difficult! I have one arriving soon.
Digging in the volleyball sand court is laborious... Need a scoop!

Looks like you did pretty good.
 

Think that your machine isn't dealing with wet sand well, if it is salt water that would explain the continuous false signals , I have heard that turning sensitivity down helps with this. Some machines just aren't good for that type of hunting tho. Did you try all metal mode perhaps?
