The first I saw this was more like this...

Wasn't too long after that I saw this....

Yep....I think I'm already catching on to this Max! :)

I was a busy pup but I was feeling no pain!

Something wrapped in reflective tape. :dontknow: But, we'll get back to this one.

We all know where Blingie is headed!

The piece on the right was either a dangle or a pendant or an earring. :dontknow: Looks like that jewel they found on oak island.

Let's get back to this piece, which Fishy seems to be drifting towards. What does he know?

The back was no help.

Started peeling tape....

What I thought, (in the field), was 2 pieces of square glass inside appeared to be metal. Hence the 90 signal.

It OPENS!!! The plot thickens!!

Viola!!!
I don't mind telling you, I had a good, hardy laugh!! Right out loud!!! :laughing7:

Ok, mystery solved except.....*WHY*!?!?!??? LOL!

In any "case" ;) I do believe I'm beginning to get this machine and I am *liking* it!!

Did I mention that I found both of these in the middle of a cornfield!?!? And.....even though they both tested positive for 14kt...neither one is marked! :icon_scratch:

Thanks for peeking! And...Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Looks like you might have a new friend WHADI, it certainly helped you out in obtaining some golden treasures.
Congrats on the walk.

Wow what a mix!

A Lake George souvenir coin holder is the closest I found in a quick search. But is no match.

Coin holders and lockets go way back.

Could be a birthday for someone , or other occasion to remember.

Your new detector is performing great , as is it's user.

Congrats on the haul.
And on getting out!
Thanks RC!

The closest I've come before would be the wallet I found that was completely empty. Or the change purse that had a few modern coins.

In the field I had no clue! Was quite the surprise when I unwrapped my present! LOL!

Yeah, I think it might be a good and long relationship too. Not only 2 pieces of gold, but a diamond ring as well!!!

I must say, *very* impressive!!! :)

W2G, Sir WHADI! Looks like you had a lot of fun! I have a theory on the coin holder/locket. That penny was some metal detectorist’s first find. They put it in there to remember the day and carry it for good luck every time they went out detecting. And then, they lost it.
'T is like I've always said, milady. These things we find? Do *not* want to be found!! That's why they always jump out of the hand and right back into the hole from whence they were hiding!! :)
My humble gratitude, milady!

nice job on that gold congrats
Always adds a bit to a walk, don't it?

What I liked about these two finds most is that they were found in a cornfield, they might be old gold, (no markings), and they are small targets found about 8 inches down!!

I'm getting impressed! :)
