I'll bring a 6' table, chairs, dogs and chili and kick in a 1893 Colombian Expo Chicago half dollar for the raffle.

Not the exact coin

Wow, I've been looking for one of those Columbian Exposition coins for a long time! Crossing my fingers on that one!

This party is going to be awesome. The best one yet, no doubt. Can't wait.

Oh man, too bad we are being nice... ;D

Nice job Bomber.
Hey if Ron from Windy City does make it out, I hope he brings a few extras like maybe a TDI to show off. If this is the brainchild of Surfscan and White's and does what it says, it may be the proto machine of tomorrow. I'd love to see a demo.

Did you see this video lowbatts?

I think I'd rather have an Explorer around here for coin hunting.

No I hadn't seen that. That bayonet he's using would last about 10 mins in some of the ground we see. I 'd like to see the unit in action at some of the really prime sites I've been too, where there's native dirt that has never seen a plow or developer. I think it would excel in such sites.

Hmm, interesting video. I would think that, for the money, the Minelab machine would be a better choice for the high-conductive deepies than the White's TDI; the White's just seems too complicated and bulky. I have a White's and I love it for what it is, but if it ever came to deciding on either one of those two in the video for coinhunting old parks or schools like that, I'd do the Minelab, for sure.

I almost missed this post for what to bring.
I will bring some BBQ baked beans and extra chairs if needed.
I am looking forward to meeting and seeing some new faces.
This is going to be a blast.
