Hi all !
My detecting buddy said "lets go !" , who am i to argue ! So we headed down to our local beach. It was a scorcher today in So Cal , where i live it was in the high 80's. I don't do heat very well , so when we got there i made a bee line for under the pier. The only shade around.
Today's score. Around $1.50 in clad and what once was a silver ring!
It's really thin. Has small deep purple stone , Amethyst i think. Quite pretty. 2.9 grams with the stone. It's seen better days , it was flat , broken and split when i found it.
I was quite surprised to find it where i did. Last week i had found a small gold ring about two feet away from this find. After i found the gold ring i thought i went over that area pretty good to see if it had any friends.
I wont try to clean it , to thin and fragile . I like the patina , makes it look vintage.
