Deputies said they suspect Dan Johnson Jr. forced his way into an outbuilding and took two safes with 50 to 60 pounds of silver and jewelry inside sometime between Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

Authorities say the coins were part of a theft of at least $50,000 in coins and jewelry over the Christmas holidays. Detectives believe Johnson's son, Dan Johnson Jr., planned the heist.
