Been a while since I found a big silver. Even Washington's are starting to get hard to find, let alone something bigger. This turned out to be a good hunt with 5 wheat cents, a silver Roosie, and the Walker. The silver cleaned up very well. Sorry, I didn't take a before photo. They were mainly covered in that gray haze that silver gets in favorable ground. No heavy crust or black tarnish, so, an easy clean up. Lots of ammo brass, but, my hunting partner found 3 time what I did! A Zippo lighter, 1993 dog license from Templeton, Ca, A campground token, Knife, military insignia, some clad, and a junk ring round out the finds.

Not all coins are lost for years. I have seen some people carry walker halves and use them with out knowing. Example some times people die. There relatives go through there belongings. If they find coins with out knowing about the values they just take them out and spend them normal.

Thank you. That batch I found on my first metal detecting hunt I believe was all together, and lost recently.
