I found these old chain links at the top of LAUERL HILL with my GARRET
these are very old
what kind of iron are these?
are they worth anything
I seen similar ones on google for 500 bucks or so
but who knows
these are pretty old

I found some stuff they left

check out a video of me unearthing the chains

Okay. You have it all figured out then. I can't be of any more assistance. Cheers.
I just know where I found it at at the top of lauerl hill on the Oregon trail where they tied chains to wagons and lowered them down for a 15 dollar fee

I found a Carling Black Label beer can very deep in a Civil War hut, but I don't think they had beer cans at that time.

All I can tell you is those are electric welded links. You can investigate from there.

Call it what you will .. If you want to think of it as an ancient artifact, go for it.

you see how rusty and dirty they are when I pulled them out?

Lackoff... I think you are failing to grasp the "big picture" here.

#1. You started this thread to ... errr... welll to see what others thought about your finds... to get some confirmation as you will... and then when VETERAN / EXPERTS tell you what you have you have you seem to ignore and argue the / your point as if we are going to all of a sudden see something we did not to begin with and change our minds... which does happen from time to time... but not with something(s) like what you have posted here... THEY ARE OBVIOUS TO US.

#2. Your imagination is running wild and in no close proximity to actual reality... no offense... it is what it is... you just need to accept it.

#3. Move on and keep detecting... one day you will actually find something that you will need our help on.

Thank you ... best of luck out there... and follow the MD code.
Arc.. You might as well save your breath for blowing your coffee.
