I have to admit, this isn't a "Today's Find", just an update on a past find and a thorough
research and return story.
Mods? Move as need be but I wanted to mention it to show how this is an ongoing hobby.
I found this little graduation ring about a year ago. I had the school, the year but just couldn't
locate the owner. The other day whilst perusing the wonderful stories about returns here, I came
across something of a hint. I followed up.
To make a VERY long, (year or more), story, shorter, I FINALLY linked up with the original owner!
The ring is now VERY happily back in their hands! Seems that the ring was lost shortly after it was
purchased and on a very sentimental day for the owner. They'd lost somebody else that same day.
It was justified as that the departed had taken the ring with them. (A nice way to think about losing
something). Anyway, the owner had just gotten back from visiting the grave when my first email
was received. They were shocked and flabbergasted. (So was I!)
Anyway, just a nice story to maybe lift some spirits. Karma sure works in a funny way!
I tried to find where I'd posted the original ring but, try as I may, I just could not find it! I'm thinking that I might not have posted it for fear of others doing the research "for" me. Then, I forgot.
Anyhoo, sure is a LOT of Karma surrounding this little ring, (and me), lately!
It is a 10k grad ring, in case anyone wants to know.
Thanks for taking a moment to read.
