- Casual use is non-motorized only
- repeals patents permanently 30 U.S.C. 29
- no relocating if you mess up your paper work or miss a filing deadline. you or your relatives cant refile for 10 years
- $150 maintenance fee and raise it every 5 years
- failure to use a claim, now on the claimant to show it was mined
- Royalty, not less than 2% to no more than 5%
- comprehensive inspection, collection, fiscal, and production accounting and auditing system
- audits of all claim holders, operators, producers, transporters, purchasers, processors,
- or other persons directly or indirectly involved in the production or sales of locatable or hardrock minerals
- Federal mining permit or denial
- WITHDRAWALS & change land use plans at any time
- grants to non-profits for reclamation & restoration
- abandoned mine land fee .6% to 2% of value of mineral production
- This Act supersedes the general mining law
