I forgot M T handle Saturday after the little hunt I had. Fortunately there are still good people out there😁 They left it leaning against a tree. It's a good Day!!
That T handle has found so many Killer finds! Had to share. Always go back and check at the last place You hunted in case You forget and leave Your shovel leaning against Your tire😳 IMG_3540.JPG

Yes, there are still kind, respectful and good people in the world; so glad your retrieved your digging tool! :hello2:

With my luck I would have found it backing out of the driveway. ..stuck in my tire. .lol

You had better results than I did. About a month ago I was hunting in Norwalk Ohio and stopped by this little park that was once 2 lots with early 1900's mansions. I stuck my shovel in the ground and processed to hit the tot lot (I mean no need for the shovel in the wood chips). I did not even get one trash signal, so I meandered around the property for about 30 minutes. Not one single target detected so I walked to the van and headed out. I drove by the fairgrounds which had a plethora of activity so I decided to go hunt the old football stadium. When I got to the stadium I noticed I did not have my Lesche shovel so I went back to the park. Now mind you I saw no one in the park the entire time I hunted there. Not even any foot or bike traffic. I was only gone from the site for 15 minutes and my shovel was gone. I even drove around the neighborhood to see if I could find anyone with it in their possession either walking or on bike. I have since come to hypothisize that since the park was target free, that there must be an active MDer that lives in one of the surrounding homes, and they probably have my shovel. I have become dependent on that shovel and ordered a new one withing minutes of getting home at the end of the day. That day I commited a $75 mistake.

Ouch!! I understand about the need for that one shovel We use. Sorry You never got it back.

There are far more good people in the world than bad.

Overall I agree, but it can depend where you reside if there are more good than bad IMHO. I am blessed to live in a small farm town where 99.9% or good people.

last month my wife had sat down on a stump to rest for a minute before we walked the rest of the way to the truck to go home. The next morning, we were getting ready to head back for a couple hours to hunt again when she couldn't find her pin pointer. We looked everywhere and I finally remembered her sitting down on the stump and so we hurried back to the spot. There were a few people in the general area as we walked quickly to the stump. Sure enough, there it was and boy were we relieved. it is bad enough that I manage to lose something that I just had in my hand earlier but it happens. yep, I sometimes have to back trail to find something but for the most part have been very blessed to recover lost items.

Can't separate the metal from a metal detectorist!

I will pay 50 cents for each looter from Houston--- sorry, they will be in no condition to return to the sender :angry4: :angry5: :evil4: :angry1:

I was hunting with friends a few months back and lost my Predator/Lesche US Military issued hand digger. I was working a river bank in tall grass and laid it in the grass. I looked for it for over 15 minutes and was feeling nearly sick for loosing my absolute FAVORITE tool. My buddy came along and questioned why the look of horror and offered to help me search for it. He used his metal detector and found it. Now, why didn't I think of using my metal detector?!?:icon_scratch: LOL!!! Glad you got your very nice tool back. We have a way of getting pretty attached to our gear and for good reason.:icon_thumright:

I suspect your inclinations to be true as to a nearby dweller was watching you and pounced on your shovel as soon as you departed. I have more respect for buzzards on road kill then this putrid scheming pond scum. Sorry you had a bad experience with one of the dregs of our society.:angry9:

For Sure!!

Glad you were able to get your shovel back. As we can read by Loco's experience, not everyone is so lucky. Good people do make for a better day.
