People really like showing off their finds! More power to them, because that is what makes this hobby so much fun! However, during the process we all dig up our share of trash, such as those permanently-attached pull tabs that always get bend off and tossed! Ugh! Then there is the other stuff....

I've found socket wrenches, end wrenches, pliers, tweezers, wire, spoons, toy cars, and about everything else people seem to lose. I've even found a cow magnet (pseudobezoar) or two. Nonetheless, I'm curious about what others have found that are just as nefarious as a bezoar?

The sky is the limit!

I saw the title to your post and thought you were talking about our current Prez. I was going to agree with you.

Early on learning my machine I was getting a deep signal (8 inches was deep for me!) that was ringing in the silver range. Started digging carefully, not wanting to damage the target or the yard I was given permission to hunt. Stuck my propointer in and knew I was close. A few more scoops of dirt and out pops...an old flat tube of hemmorhoid cream! So much work!

I have found tubes of toothpaste, an antique sign, a shovel, antique irons, an old crosscut saw, a pistol, brazier clips, license plates, and the list keeps going . There is some crazy stuff in the ground just waiting to be found. I love it

I know some people would like this find but I was bummed,I was hunting the site of an old 1890 mental asyuym, burned down is 1943, now a park, found an old map on line and over laid it on the currant park map and was hunting the old front entrance area...Got a pure clean dollar coin signal, dollar on the VDI as well' 5 inches down. has to be a silver dollar right?...It was a stinkin, full size clad dollar. 1971 Eisenhower. Brown and toasted, had to whiz it with a dremel tool to see the date. The 71 San Fran is silver, of course this one was Denver mint...Do the research, hit the ground, get a perfect silver dollar signal and...it's...still...clad'
Good freakin' grief: :BangHead:

I was on the east side of the Suwanee river searching for possible area pirates hid treasure. I got a strong signal dug about a foot down hit something solid. Started brushing the dirt away and looked like the top to an old chest got very excited it was surreal. It was like this is it i FOUND IT! I started to work digging and sweating and wondering what I would do if it was a heavy chest, was anyone watching me? how would I move it? my truck was a mile away. Anyway, it was a piece of flat steel about 1' by 1-1/2' with rivets that had a bow in the center probably fell off an old machine or something. From the top it looked like a chest. Its an amazing bunch of feelings going through your mind when something like that happens.

Lets see last few days dug a laser pointer, a lipstick tube, a eye liner tube, tons of cans, a couple hinges beyond repair, 2 house keys one with dream catcher on it but there will be more I'm sure.

two weeks ago i was at a spot where theres rumors of a large chest filled with gold. i was about neck deep in water when i hit a huge signal about 3 feet wide and two feet long. i thought to myself, sweet mother of god this is it! i marked the spot with a chunk of lead weight tied to some bright yellow string and flew home to get my dive gear. i came back, ready to haul up my retirement. it was a damn buried beach chair! SON OF A....

I was at a park that I had hit hard in the past. Near a small (~25ft tall) tree, I got a solid Quarter signal. Now the Quick Draw is a great coin machine for it's measly price, so usually when it says quarter, it's a quarter. After digging for 15 minutes, and the signal never faltering, I was faced with a root about 4" diameter. I dig with a plastic shovel, so I had to dig around it, and of course the signal was directly above the root. I thought whatever this was had to be right under the middle of this root. Mind you, this is in 90F heat with 95% humidity... Another 1/2 hour later, I finally reach my target... an electrical box knock-out disc... Ugh.

Hit a solid 83 silver range on at pro. 5 feet deep in Lake Michigan signal said 10 inches +. Dug for 40minetes got down 2 feet almost walked finally a old can ??? But 20 feet away 14 k mans white ring. Love this hobby !!!!
