The wife is HAPPY!!!!!!!

Just ran outside at the house to check my front yard, have been at the school all day and made about 2$ in new quarters and dimes.
found this by the old steps to our house (used to have a porch, tore it down when we moved in in 1989, it was a child hazard)
I don't care if it is real or not, the wife actually thinks my metal detector is a GOOD thing now!!! (I gave the ring to her )..
GOD THIS IS COOL!!!!!!

P.S. I just washed this thing off and dried it before I took the pictures, it didn't corrode or anything, but even if it is plated, I won't tell the wife, she thought it was great!!!

any 10k, 14k, 18k markings on the inside of the band thats a really cool ring at any rate!

all it says on the inside is 18k, no other marks.
but, it could be lead and the wife would be happy, and if SHES HAPPY, I'M HAPPY!!!

this thing just looks sooooo cool, looks like a big gold flower with gems in it.
I've only had my dtector for like 3 days (and she didn't want to get it for me, so i can't really make a fuss, but damn this is COOOOLLLLL!!!!), never again will my wife doubt my masculine wish of "I just want it, it looks neat!"(YEAH, RIGHT!!)

do you really think it's not plated? (I have no idea, I know nothing about jewelry, but if it's really gold, I may be able to get another detector out of this deal), I know it's kinda mercenary, but, hey, if I can get a good Whites outa this deal, I'm o.k. with it.

Clint...Congrats...making your wife happy is no small task, and nice find on the ring as well... 18K means its definitely gold and valuable and means more than likely the stones in it are real as well. Have your jeweler look at it and also appraise it. WTG!!!

That's great! If you guys need a $600 new detector,go buy a $50 ring and tell the wife you found it with your cheap little detector and you could probably find more great stuff if you had a better unit.It works!
