It's a start. Rome wasn't built in a day.Watching Calabash Diggers video on the update shows the vortex is still full of bugs after the update.
What is your point? Technology is fluid and tends to change. Releases are also done on somewhat of an irregular basis. I've been in this wonderful hobby for about 35 years. I have seen problems with releases from all manufacturers. It happens. I've seen companies disappear, get bought out and new ones sprout up. What Minelab or Notka or several other manufacturers produce and when is irrelevant. This is a Garrett forum. If you have nothing to contribute, perhaps this isn't a forum for you to waste your and everyone else's time. Go find a forum where people like you are welcomed to drag manufacturers into the dirt. Have a Merry Christmas and try to find some joy.The vortex is at least 6-12 months away from being a finished product.
Garrett’s attempt to beat out Minelab and Nokta for the Christmas market failed miserably.
