Hey loe!! Very interesting note you have!! Possible Revolutionary War Era!! States would issue their own notes back then!! Take it to some one to validify the authenticity and they should be able to give you a true value of the tender!! GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

thank you VERDE!who would you recommend for me.to.contact for the.authenticity of the paper money??

Unfortunately it is a reproduction note. Google Massachusetts note number 25480. The paper it is printed on should be kind of thin and limp as well, the reproductions are printed on a kind of krinkly imitation parchment paper.

Yes these are repros.... the signatures should be a brown color, not black...

Not necessarily, they did not always use iron based inks, but on the other hand it looks to be in too good of a condition to be old....
So yeah I vote repro...

I bought some of these 30 plus years ago at OLD STURBRIDGE VILLAGE (a tourist village replicating colonial times)here in Massachusetts, actually still have them, were different notes. Not saying yours is replica just putting a little info out there for people.

Not the worst fake I've ever seen but so many are out there the ink would be really faded unless you found it properly preserved I'm betting u got it from an old junk box loose in a yard sale there just so thin and fragile when there real
