"THE UNION HOTEL [TAVERN] 1876-1961 FIND AND HEEPS OF PICS updated

Hi all,I got head too m.d this old hotel site. The building on this site dates from 1876 and there may have been a older building before.I don,t have any info on that.if you look at the gutter out the front, its still lined with blue-stone blocks and i do know that these were laided in 1864.also the back half of the hotel was rebuilt in the 1920,s and a access ramp and new toilet block was also added in the 1950's.theres a fall in the land and there limited access under the back half.I got under the rear of the building and i noticed that when the footing for the access ramp was dug, the fill was just pushed back under the building.Had to get a pic of what i saw.{first pic}.I didn,t have much luck on the nature strip or on the block but got a few from under the buildings.bad ground and damp so a lot of the coins are no-thing more than Rubbish. Thanks for looking and heres a few pic of site and dig and followed by the mansions on the same street.

Those are neat pictures and Neat finds. Man I think I'd take a mower back to that place and
give it a good mowing. You know do the guy a favor and mow the lot for him. That would
be a good deed indeed. LOL.

Keep hunting that site, looks neat. HH, Ringfinder

These coins were found under the rear of the building, under the floor next to the access ramp in the fill that was pushed back under the building.Had no luck on the nature strip.

Hi Sherm, The high Victorian Era building facade hide the roof and the roofes are gable style but the have a low pitch and the later Edwardian style have a much higher roof with a greater pitch. thank for the reply T>P

I'm not trying to be pushy or real nosey or anything, but where are you in general? I'm not coming to hunt your spot, I hunt close to home (Charlotte, N.C. U.S.A.) and the surrounding area.
It kills my buzz when I don't have the first clue where you are. Am I weird and the only one that feels that way. When someone says "I'm in the Cotswolds area of Gloucestershire, I feel like I'm there because I can see it on a map. If I see "Here's some pictures of a place in the world and I found these unidentifiable coins" I just don't get any feeling. It'd be like opening a Playboy to the centerfold and seeing a radiator hose. Zero response. It does look like a really nice place you are hunting, I take it that it is on this planet? and I hope you find lots of nice unidentifiable (by us not you) coins in your undisclosed location. ;)

HH,
Ramapirate
