My brother Don and I hit the park field again yesterday afternoon. I found a 45 merc and a 47 rosie. Don didn't find anything but clad.
I went again today and found a nice little assortment. I was working my way back to my truck to leave and had a nice silver hit. I figured a merc or a rosie, and wiped it to see. So I scratched a 1911 barber dime! The copper disc has some engraving on it,I'll have to straighten it out.
I think collar disc is artillery? WW2? The bobcat pin is kind of cool, don't know the age though. Then there is the lead ball, has a mold seam, and looks like it had a pin through it. Any idea's?
HH, Steve

Nice haul! It's a rush when you get those hits that you just know are silver! WTG. Keep'um comin'

Congrats on the Barber! I need one of those.

The lead piece looks like a fishing line sinker to me.

HH,

Dr. Ace

I think you're right, Dr. Ace, it does look like a lead split-shot sinker. The Boy Scout Bobcat pin is like the one I wore back in the late 60's but I suppose that style hasn't Dr. changed too much over the last few decades.
