I had the pleasure to meet Marc today, the original founder of this fantastic forum for a first scuba diving experience.

I couldn't resist to put him in hand a metal detector underwater... and guess what: he found something :hello2:

"A Tresure Hunter still remain a Tresure Hunter" ... even going on the moon he won't forget his metal detector :thumbsup:

I have to check what is the coin, but probably a bronze from -110BC or Silver similar to my banner find.... the place is the same

of course - this is the "coin" I REALLY found. (a flat stone that I will cherish all my life!)
I have NEVER detected or treasure hunted in France. PERIOD.

Sure - there was a photo-op where someone put a detector in my hand, and insisted on a pic, but I have NEVER detected in France, despite my desperate situation or desire.

I do appreciate the company and experience though! :icon_scratch:

Now HERE is a coin I found just laying on the surface - without a detector. Not too far from Frejus - would like to donate it to their museum - apparently a fairly common 1500's or so coin.


France is treasure hunting central - but ya'll know - that is never what motivated me 8-).
