I had the pleasure to meet Marc today, the original founder of this fantastic forum for a first scuba diving experience.

I couldn't resist to put him in hand a metal detector underwater... and guess what: he found something :hello2:

"A Tresure Hunter still remain a Tresure Hunter" ... even going on the moon he won't forget his metal detector

I have to check what is the coin, but probably a bronze from -110BC or Silver similar to my banner find.... the place is the same

Hello Tresure Hunter!

Congrats to marc for joining me.....underwater for a first scuba experience ever!!! i'm trying to see how I can get the dirt away from this coin to see what is it.... but it appears to be a great find :notworthy: :skullflag:

To be honest..we where "a bit out of PADI rules" ...but US is very far away from here :censored:

I can do miracles underwater...but nothing concerning ears... It's really something I do take care of, probably the only thing that could make me quite scuba diving.

Nice post !!!!!next Frogmaster is coming on the Thames to get muddy and smelly

Great find Marc. And a HUGE thank you for the best treasure hunting forum on earth.

I just can't believe that nobody has asked what kind of detector Marc is holding in his right hand . That's not an Excalibur or CTX coil, is it ?

The metal detector is a kind of Pinpointer with a coil: the Vibra Tektor 730. It is a Pulse Induction technology, I use it underwater to screen areas that are difficult to access even with a 8"inch coil. Waterproof down to 200 ft.

Hey River Rats,

If you don't mind.....come to visit me on the Riviera, I know a few wrecks with gold coins around..... we can have lunch on the boat and drink some Rose under the sun!

I have nothing against London, but I don't know why..I think diving in Thames isn't as pleasant as it can be in here..

Maybe not pleasant but most certainly exciting. I can only imagine what I could bring up from the bottom of that river.
