That is true. Yet for all the so called smart phones and high tech gear they have at their disposal they are the dumbest generation ever. One of the best things about using cash these days is the amusement of handing someone under 25 yrs old some in a shop and watch the confused look on their face as they attempt to work out the simple change they have to give you. How many times too I have had to spell easy words to some clueless one over the phone iv lost count. I have spoken to shop owners who have told me they've had 50% off sales and had teens and those in their 20s ask them how much a ticketed $20 item would be or seen them calculating it on their phone.
They'll be running the world in the not too distant future. Frightening thought isn't it!
I was once so happy to get a big packet of coloured pencils.
Give them to someone now and being so dumb they'd probably think the were coloured cigarettes and try to smoke them thinking the red one was strawberry, brown one chocolate, yellow banana.....

Remember this song. Became number one in many countries. Was the matra for tree huggers, trippy hippies and new agers around the globe. They'd sing the chant of love and peace along with the song as they envisioned unicorns and neon butterflies dancing through a star full rainbow sky with sparklers and fireworks 🥰🥰🥰

But what were they singing really? It was the biggest joke that flew under the radar since Milli Vanilli.
The drums were lifted from Led Zepplin and the chant was illegally used from a Thai Tribal folk song sung by Thai tribal husband and wife. They went through a legal battle and Enigma got blown out of the water with from then on all royalties going to the Thais.
But what was this lovely peaceful love tree hugging chant about? Loving mother earth? Being guardians of the planet? Living in peace with your fellow man?
It was about a young man lamenting being a drunk and wasting his time as a no hoper apologising to his mother! 😂
One of the biggest scam songs ever.

In my defense I was doing the do still.
That was the year of my selling my company and it was total focus on getting rid of alot of inventory and equipment.

Though I see it might be a movie to watch.
Probably less woke crap in the early days. 😁
 

It's hilarious to hand these kids a few pennies or nickels and such to get exact change back. You may as well ask them to solve an equation in algebra. They go from blank to panic. I've had them just tell me to keep it & hand me another dollar.
