It seems your unobtanium status is... unobtainable!!Morning everyone
I almost put on a coat...almost...Must be nice.
Currently 15 degrees here.
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! 48... great... But we get 80 inches of rain on average and get tourists gettin' in the way!Chilly over here
Time for the winter woolies me thinks!
sounds like a good time RC..... Still fighting the ear ringing eh? Well I experimented with Dry January for a few reasons, but a buddy told me alcohol played a role in his tinnitus. Ok there could be a little something to it. I'm on a 3 week dry spell and I can say it's not as recognizable or maybe it doesn't pierce as bad. Of course if I stop to think about it, it's still there no matter. Oh well, I guess we just have to deal with it.... Hey Look, SQUIRREL 🐿️Two of the dogs paused and listened to the woods when we were outside.
Later I heard (above the ear ringing) a fine tinkle a bit deeper toned than chimes.
Squirrel on the move .Maybe cold driven.
It took a posted curled posture after traveling to just the right spot and tail umbrellaed.
That was early /first light.
A bit of sun broke through just now.
Squirrel expected it would be clear enough to get some sun instead of the near constant lake effect snow? It appears so.
This July it's going to be 40 yrs, the ringing is still there.sou

Half a small half glass of wine new years eve. Not sure the prior last drink. A beer at a late summer dinner out maybe.sou

Used to load food on aircraft through a door a few feet from a screaming engine. No no hearing protection.
Never wore plugs at a concert. Oh there were times in front of speakers some hearing protection might have been a good idea.
Many firearms and shooting over time. Sometimes with hearing protection.
Last career involved hearing protection, hardhat, gloves, long sleeves and pants of course, radio, steel toed boots, dust mask.
Not only great in summer heat ; but in an industry where heat wasn't hard to find. Not unlike the prior one.
Ear plugs probably helped more with dust deflection than anything. I didn't measure decibels.
Had two mouse traps set in the hunting blind this year.
They tripped when I fired a shot.
At another shot a knot fell out of a wall plank.
Damn Pepper, I didn't know that. I guess some things we just have to live with. That's worse than a nagging wife..... Ok maybe it's not that badThis July it's going to be 40 yrs, the ringing is still there.

But I hear ya on job negligence. And the same with concerts and the rest. My dad was a marine engineer and as much as they tried protection it was inevitable to have hearing loss. Back to the hunting part.... how could you hear one another or the birds when hunting? Of course now they have electronic protection so you can do both. Not much loss yet, it's more the ringing that annoys me now....
Yeah I've not used them either. Know of some turkey hunters that have and had good reviews.Thee's devices that hear normal but cut out at a certain level like a loud gunshot. I haven't used such.
Oh man, she just does fit in there huh? Well just think of the gas mileage not using a big ole truck or trailer. Have fun MX, can't wait to see the pics... "Jealous "Around 70'f in Quartzite this week, so I'm going down there and meet up with some moto bros to tear up some desert for a few days.
