Well I took the new Snow Deer gloves out for a test walk. 25F feels like 16F.
My fingers were cool from doing chores.
I turned on the new ones, took Max for a walk to get some kale out of the garden.
(Dog has a great memory, hitting the gate wanted in the garden. Wide tracking, then straight to the kale.)

I bumped the heat up to medium and it neutralized the feeling of the cooler feeling.
I was hoping for a warmer feeling, but a neutral is okay.
Will try with warmer hands and see if they perform a little better.
There's always the high setting.🙂

Well wool lined leather chopper mitts over gloves were my go to for expeditions on the ice years ago.
No dexterity though.
Them my lantern in it's wooden box to warm hands while fishing.
Meaning cold hands if fish were biting!

I have curly lamb inside moose hide mitts. But the internal heater isn't enough to keep the paws warm for more than 20 minutes.

I used to have heated gloves for cold weather motorcycling. Don't remember the brand but they did a great job. Some rides the rest of me was freezing, but my hands were warm!
They make a shake pouch now that fits in your hand. Shake it and it activates it and it will last for hours. I keep one in my jacket when I’m out looking.

Been using them for 30 yrs or more.
Annual stocking stuffer.
Downside, the over use of these.
Detector and pin pointer sensitive.
Short trips, wrap them up in a zip lock. I have used the same ones many times over.

Hi. I think I was 19? When an older friend played this on his monster stereo in his music smoking room. Blew me away so I got the album the next day. The cover had I think they were boing 737s on it.

I saw Johnny Winter a couple times in the 70s, one time it was billed as Johnny Winter with Special Guests. The guests turned out to be Edgar Winter Group with Edgar, the entire show was Johnny and Edgar performing their hits, Rick Derringer was also with them. Great show!

wonder if they can be used to warm the frozen ground to enable easier digging?!
