The northern original pirates.

I like it except for helmets with horns. That wasn’t a Viking thing. In fact, metal Viking era helmets from Scandinavia are almost non existent. They have only one in a museum in Denmark. They probably had leather headgear.

This is my next adventure.... I'll share a pic of moms massive Mulberry tree in my next post... Off to load up the truck with equipment... Have a Great Monday Mateys :hello:

Here are 2 rings I found on mom’s property I believe to be barrel stays. Not sure with the hole pattern, and they are large?
Good morning y'all :coffee2:

Hey Chili! Found him, goes by sluice box Karl on Facebook.

In Victoria Australia creeks of breathtaking beauty caress the hills. The pioneers in the gold rush found the rich fields and they still produce gold to this day. Many of the areas are in crown land and big mining companies are locked out forever. This means there is still enough gold for everyone to go down and have some fun. It pays to keep a pan in the car.

Went out with the dogs at daybreak in the single digits.
Sweatshirt, no coat. Got thinking a hat would be in order if I stayed out longer.
Glasses fog up when back inside the house though.

Good morning everyone. :coffee2: :sunny: The white squirrel was missing for several weeks & I hoped something View attachment 2184496hadn't happen to him. He's been back the last few days. I put out p-nuts, acorns, & sunflower seeds. Also I have a platform that holds an ear of dried corn. Lot's of fat squirrels around here.

Anyone else suffer from Tinnitus, and have you found something to help treat it? Ugh... getting worse as I get older and winter days seem more prominent.
I've had it nearly my entire life. Sadly, I've found nothing that helps. It gets worse when I wear ear plugs so I wear muffs when around loud noises. Mine started when I was 11 years old. I had a severe case of the mumps. It left me deaf for almost a year. I regained the hearing in my left ear but never again in my right. The Tinnitus started way back then. Good luck.

Had it now for 48 yrs now.
Things that make them really ring, sharp high pitched noice, a loud clap, loud anything.
Talking on the cell phone if holding it up to the ear. (speaker is safer anyways).
Discharging even a .22 cal. will do it.
Sometimes I have plug my ears to hear it-then times like today I really hear it ringing.

I'm going with Wagon wheel rim.
If it were a metal spoked wheel then there would be a consistent hole pattern for the long bolt spokes all the way around the rim.
Here's an idea they were barrel stays for a pirate's rum keg.

I have one rim I found and one hay dump unit. I will have to have a look one day.

I hear cicadas and crickets and sirens and peepers all year round in a four season environment.
Quiet environments really make it get loud.
So no. No relief here really.
Been so long it's "normal" anymore.
