Hey Hey Hey.... 
Wow lot's of new topics and discussions I see lately. Hope all you crew are doing well? Been a little crazy here with family and the holiday season mayhem.. (Yay only 2 Xmas trees left
) But mostly family crisis. Repeat of 2023 again on family health issues unfortunately. From local ER's and across state traveling to Duke University hospital in the last 10 days. No rest for the weary, but God definitely still wants us all alive. Not looking forward to getting old that's for sure.. 🙏
On a positive note, I do look forward every day now to pull up my T-Net page and to see what all the cronies have been up too. Makes me laugh, smile and eager to hunt!! You've all rubbed off on me so much that I couldn't wait to get home today after a cold days work, and turn this mornings leftover coffee into Irish coffee with Baileys..
Ok that could just be normal old man stuff? Right ARC?
Anyways, this is my good morning and night chime in.... Time to watch the YouTube music Vids roll in

Yep, me too.
About 20 yrs ago we had a farmer's tax in Victoria. For farmers in the particular areas we lived in.
At the time I was seeing cattle grazing on nothing with no shelter. Zero. Around the Talbot Mt Glasgow goldfields. I purposely drove all around. Parked and walked around the entirety of the area. The Talbot Mt Glasgow area was/is volcanic. The areas with these cattle and sheep had not 1 tree. Totally and utterly devoid of shelter. We were warned "Pay or face fines"
I sent pictures and said to the Govt, fine me, but I will never as I draw breath give 1 cent to these dogs treating these animals like this.
I never heard back, and wasn't fined.
We have the RSPCA and whatever others like the Animal Activists blah blah... Peta whatever. None, not 1 has ever addressed these issues iv shown them.
I lived in Maryborough Vic. The animals across the Moolort Plains have no shelter in 80% of places. Its on a damn highway!
It falls on deaf ears.
It sickens me when I travel from place to place in summer temps seeing these animals in heat stress. Unfortunately here nobody cares!

Shopping yesterday on the way home. Saw a great crio vac ham hock. $20 for $4. 😀
This morning first thing in the big pot on its own im filtered water. Hours later finely chopped potato, carrot and onion. Fine to let all their flavour out.
Later, 1kg of butter beans. 1/2 mashed to well.... mash 😂
What other flavours? Just 1 large table spoon of Holbrooks Worcestershire Sauce. That's it. Half way through cut up the ham hock to let the flavour out.
Tasteless? No herbs, no other stuff?
Sometimes things are just good left minimum. Like some recipes for fish with this and that and so on and in the end you wouldn't know what fish it even was.
I didn't tell the misses what I did.
She had it and was "that was beautiful! What was in it?"
At first she thought I was joking at the minimal ingredients.
Iv always been less is best to be honest.👍
