Under software security versions, are those version numbers Washington DC area code phone numbers ?
View attachment 2178974just need some help. Someone told me that someone at Samsung security told them that their supplier in Beirut Lebanon sent them tablets that they didn't expect.

I can see all your IPs and none are outside USA.

You know what's interesting about this tablet I bought from Best buy in Tallahassee Florida, is in the bootloader it shows that it's running Unix Ubuntu and Linux also Android and Apple webkit.
I posted that screenshot earlier of developer options that there's a what looks like a Washington DC area code phone number under disabled app compatibility policies.
Since I did that the phone number changed all by itself and I don't know how it happened.

Did I just get humbled today. I have a great friend in the UK whom I have known for years. A serviceman returned from service in conflicts. Great guy, love him. He started detecting a few yrs ago as something to take his mind off of things and loved it. Beach and just easy stuff.
He isn't on this site, iv known him personally for yrs though.
Just recently his wife was diagnosed with a turbo cancer, recent thing for those that have no symptoms then "hit" with a diagnosis of weeks to live and so it was. Oh man, this guy is gold as a person. Just heard he had a really bad stroke just 2 weeks after her passing, wont be able to walk again, cant use his arms properly and will be electronic wheel chair bound. He only let us his friends know from his daughter typing what he wanted us his friends to know. It blew me away, my misses and me had tears in our eyes reading the message.
My problems just vanished into insignificance into the distance.
It is as I've been saying a lot lately. *EVERYTHING* in ones' life can change, *forever*...in ONE SINGLE HEARTBEAT.

My sympathies to your friend. But...nowadays? I live every single day waiting for the "other shoe" to drop.

Do what you can while you still can do!

Carpe diem!!!

So get to "carpe-ing"!!!!!

I will have some Rum in my coffee please....

Hmmm... errr... on second thought... hold the coffee.

***ARC does his best puppy eyes***
I *knew* it!!!!

Cap'n is a rum puppy!!!! 😋 :angel12:

Very sorry to hear that.

Only one problem, they think that I am someone who I am not thanks to my older brother JTH.
It's really quite maddening to have your identity stolen by a family member who just happens to be your older brother.
Especially when he says that you can't be you anymore because I'll go to prison for everything that he did using my name.

Maybe y'all can figure it out amongst yourselves, but why does the Google Play store on this Samsung Galaxy tab a9+ have every Microsoft app that probably exists even for Microsoft employees on it for Android, is the Linux system overriding the Android system.
Does anyone happen to know Bill Gates or anybody that he employs they they can ask please.

this is just one example of what's available on this Google Play store version.

Nobody knows Bill Gates and even if they did, he doesn't do tech support.

I don't know why you're trolling with these "tech" questions. Android is linux, and five seconds on a search engine would tell you that. Apple Webkit is a toolkit used by a slew of apps, which again, a search engine would tell you immediately, no need to bother Mr. Gates. As for what apps are installed, if you got it at Best Buy, there's probably a ton of stuff on it ("value added", they'd say. Bloatware, I'd say.).
