I would be very surprised if it is spendable. At a hundred dollars a pop it is to easy to counterfeit. . My first thought on seeing the coin was, how would an 8 year old african american little girl feel about receiving one as a gift? How would it impact her? I imagine it would be positive.

I just don't plain like the design. The portrait is too large. The word Liberty just looks odd. Guess its the way the portrait starts to obscure it. The eye catching part of the coin is the hair, which shouldn't be. Hair is too pronounced. On the reverse, the eye catching part is the down bend of the eagle's wing and the dumb think is curved. Curved coins remind me of toys, not coins. Won't buy any.

I HAD to buy the baseball hall of fame curved coin. Could not help it. Who can resist a baseball coin shaped like the curve of a baseball? Complete with stitching. Had to have it
