So far so good.
Now look at the gun, gun carriage (can you see the difference) and the propeller "of the First Bulgarian submarine" that our military divers dismantled and the commanders in chief of our naval forces donated to our naval museum in the city of Varna. The gun that adorns our museum is 37 mm. Bethlehem made in USA .It is stamped CANON 37 MM.,#5. ,73 KG.,BETHLEHEM 1903 .It also has a sultan turga of Abdul Hamid II .This means 100% that this gun was in Ottoman service empire. When asked when and why the French cannon, for which there is enough ammunition, was replaced with an American one, our historians shrug their shoulders.

Let's continue with the gun carriage. The difference between that of the UB18 and the one in the museum is obvious. Since I couldn't find a photo of the UB7 with a gun anywhere, I will post photos of the UB14. In these two photos, it is clear that the carriage of the UB14 and that of the disputed submarine are identical. My opinion is that the submarines serving under the German flag (UB7 and UB14) were equipped with American guns (I will post two more photos of the American guns in service in the USA with similar carriages).
The guns of both submarines were certainly in service in the Ottoman Empire. I think they were taken from the cruiser Mecidiye which was built in Philadelphia in 1903 and has the same caliber on board (the gun in the museum is American with the same year as that of the cruiser).
