Actually found! And after all these years met someone from Greybull who heard of it. A brief listing said a small cache under $5 in Indian Head Cents was once found near the railroad tracks, no other information. Recently I met an older couple who were from Greybull, so I asked about it. The man said he heard of it when he was a kid. At the time it was thought to have belonged to a hobo.

This would be termed a treasure found. But when we get into researching for our Wyoming book, there are a few treasures found in this region. The hwy west of Basin had about $800 in old silver found (old cache). Another is a bunch of silver dollars in a wall in Lovell. I am hoping to get the details of these finds for our book.

By the way in Moorecroft the West Texas trail museum carries our Lesser Known Outlaws of Wyoming book. Big Nose George Parrott and his gang, some good old west reading.

Also I have run into a fella who heard of the Silver in the wall at Lovell, so those treasures are real.
