The end is near for me

That is with Illinois. It is a definite fact that I will be moving to Northern Va, sometime probably late Aug or early Sept. I have very much enjoyed hunting with many of you as well as the several years of your postings. I do still want to get out some between now and then. I have not really gotten out since the FP ban. I enjoy woods the most. I don't like hunting city parks alone and I don't like the beaches I used to hit now that parking has gotten jacked up. Hope to get out with a few of you prior to my final departure out of this state. I'll probably post some of my better VA finds here once I get the lay of the land out there.

Could be Just the beginning I was out working in Orange VA couple of weeks ago a guy at the shop i went to showed me some of his local finds. Looks like you'll be close to some real historic areas

I grew up in N Va. When I was a kid I would check out the excavations for new houses. I found about a dozen minnie balls over the years. I wonder what I would have found with a metal detector.
