The better finds from today and the past week. Obverse of a silver coin (.167 silver) dating 1858 and a bronze coin dating 1856.

Reverse of the coins.

Obverse of what looks to be a harness mount or belt mount maybe? And an unknown coin, very small and worn.

Reverse of the mount piece and coin. Any help on the IDs would be appreciated!

An interesting cross, small, have to research the age, any help? A man’s wedding band made of brass. Also dug several lead seals and a few musket balls with the sprue attached. HH, Mike

Very good selection of Germany finds :headbang: .... is good for all these findings show for all ages, Germany not only is the 20th Century :angry7:
Greetings!

I really like the cross, almost like the 3 of the arms were formed/styled like bells :icon_scratch: :icon_thumright:

Nice, very nice.

Hey Bavaria Mike! Nice finds! Are you near Erlangen? I was stationed there from 1975 to 1978. The old Farris barracks post in Erlangen went back to WWI. Has anyone hunted this area? It's my guess that plenty of old silver coins should be around those old WWI barracks?

really nice finds!! keep it up and good luck keep digging KRAZYHORSE

Nice digs Mike, man I sure miss it over there.

Thanks all! No, I am not still working that dig site but I need to follow up on that opportunity. Crusader, you are right about that cross, it is interesting! Sonoma Mike, I live about one hour East of Erlangen near Graf, I want to detect there some day. HH, Mike
