Been going since 1990... and I have been to almost every decent to big Flea in the southern U.S.
But Webster is in a world of its own...
I try to never miss a holiday Monday there...
It is actually open every Monday... but the holiday Mondays "bring em from all over".

Middle of BFE... but WELL worth it.
Will be PACKED with venders from all over... and if you have never been... and like Flea Markets... you will be hooked.
I went for my first time in 90 and have been going back since.

People come from all over for the holiday shows and I have found some of the best stuff ever at this market and IMO a "do not miss" show.
If you are a collector of ANYTHING...
You WILL find it at Webster... And I do mean ANYTHING...
Prices Vary from vendor to vendor but overall prices are CHEAP.

Oh P.S> You CANNOT see it all in a day...
I prefer the Front outside uncovered field area.

SO... whats your favorite Flea ?

Love to hear of new ones.

Adams County has one, but the favorite is the Badger Steam & Gas Show. Badger Steam & Gas Engine Home Page
The sort of people that like old gas & steam engines are a class all their own. So the junk they bring has a distinct flavor to it.

I have never been to one and never seen one in 40 years. Not saying I have searched them out but I would imagine I would see a flyer or a banner at some point in my life.

They are like huge yards sales right? Except in a row with different "vendors" so to speak? I honestly thought they were something from way back in the day until my wife said they are still alive and well today. :dontknow:

Yes...
Good ones are like a massive yard sale... comprised of people from all walks of life... from all over the world...
Selling a million different things.

They are great.
Love em.

Picc-A-Dilly Eugene OR. I rent a table, set up fast and check out the other vendors.

Picc-A-Dilly Flea Market

I don't blame ya... Fleas are loaded with great stuff that is not only unique and cool... but cheap as well.
Now don't get me wrong...
Not ALL fleas are this way all the time...
I have been to many that are loaded with junk...
Or venders are high on pricing...
But MOST love to haggle... and if perserverence and your art of haggle is good...
you can walk away with a bargain or a super score.

EVEN IF... the super score is just some "do dad" that you need to "do" something around the house... or stuff to sell online...
OR a great addition to the collection.

Hard not to shop if you are there to sell...
Just hard to sell while you are shopping... :) heh

Viking I would definitely come see your tableware's and look for gold or silver coins in your old jacket pockets...
or some other treasure that you may have overlooked :P j/k

I love this flea market !!!1 Been going for years and years......and years! Especially when its a little cooler outside and the snowbirds bring their goodies to sell ! Love-Love-LOVE. I can't seem to find a decent flea market around here, or for miles around here, say from Panama City to Jacksonville......Any suggestions anyone???

I've never been but my brother talks about Webster in hushed tones like it's a religious pilgrimage...

Here's a good one this weekend north of Columbus, Ohio, about half in the woods... shade.

It's a full day.

Nice...
Yeah this one coming up Monday has covered and uncovered...
I like the uncovered areas better for these are the "outta towners" mostly... and the covered are the "regulars".

The joy of having a table is that you are 2-3 hours early. Many times I haggle, and place the item on my table, and triple the price! If it's something I really wanted I keep it out of site.
Sure...but I'm kinda young to have old jacket pockets....:laughing7:

Favorite flea? It's a toss-up between Ctenocephalides felis and a Red Hot Chili Pepper.

Canton, Texas. Outside of Dallas. Called First Monday Trade Days, but they generally are Thursday through Sunday. Stretches down the road. Vast area. Friend bought a chuck wagon there. She was up front when the guy said who will give me 4. He meant $4,000. She said $400. Mostly men. Nobody else bid. Sold for $400 to us. We figured they were staring at her 42DD in a tiny halter top and her Daisy Dukes. She had an antique store, I hung out and helped (her husband was a policeman and we were friends). Anyway, she sold that wagon for $2500. Canton can be fun...

OK, The biggest flea market that I have ever seen is the city of Quartsite AZ, yes the city turns into a flea market for the month of January.
There is even a 3 ring size circus tent set up there with 3 consecutive shows, rockhound, muscle car,and RV. Almost every building turns flea.
You can buy anything there!! I have purchased laser beam splitting cubes and a beach buggy there plus many other items. That should be on every one's bucket list! Frank c-06 088-io-1.jpg

Tis crazy... Webster has been there for over 50 years...
The 2 best days for Webster are Memorial day and Labor Day...
Vendors and buyers descend upon the 80 acre compound from hundreds of miles around... 35 acres are just Vendors...
Any collector of anything should not miss this market.
It is so big ...
You cannot see it all in a full day.

I am there before crack of dawn... and have been going since the summer of 90.

Fleamasters..in Ft. Myers.

The WORST flea market in FL, if not America.

If you need socks, weaves, drug paraphanalia, black velvet art, silks, incense, masking tape, and pipe cleaners...this is the place for you.

Arrgggg... looks like its gonna rain.

Venders will still be there.... sometimes this means better deals.

My girl doesn't wanna go now. heh
arrrg.
prolly best... gonna be wet for awhile.
Next show.
