Went to one of my favorite dump bank to dump some halves and found
this one in the reject tube. It is very worn but I will keep it.

a very worn 1864 two-cent.

Ahh I see. Pics didn't show before. Very impressive!

Amazing to be able to FIND a coin like that. Probly not worth much in that condition, but an incredible find none the less

WOW! I don't know what's crazier...the fact that you found this coin or the fact that someone was trying to put it in a coin machine to get two zincolns back! ???

Very unique find! I've dug a few, but I can't remember the last time someone posted one via crh, congrats!

Wow! There is something you don't see everyday. Very nice!

I'm disappointed Fistfull. I'm rather forgettable but my 2cent find wasn't :)

Ironically, I found the exact same year in the exact same manor. My heart about stopped.

I post my finds on a different board. I mostly just browse Tnet for cool finds like this one. Congrats OP!

Magma, Is your Avatar a 'found' coin? If so, I'd love to hear about it. If this is a rhetorical question, just point me to an appropriate thread.

Thanks - OO

Many apologies Owassokie, many things I can't recall in my old age.

Yes it is. Found it in a bag of halves : ) 1854 Large cent. Actually good shape too except for being smashed on one side from the coin counter it went through. Also had 93 40%s and 14 90%s but The Large cent was the prize in the bag
