This was the first Jan/Feb we have spent away from the Mid-West winters since I retired from the Police Dept. What a great time we had in Florida sight seeing, swimming, & especially metal detecting the local beaches
One last day in the sand today and got a few bucks in clad, silver heart locket, and a funny find.......I got a LOUD foil signal, scooped it up and it turned out to be an opened Trojan (condom) packet. I scanned the immediate area again and got a pull tab signal, scooped up a silver toe ring! You do the math

Glad you got to get out of the cold! I spent a month n AZ this year and it definitely helped the winter go by faster. Beach detecting is one of my favorites, I've been to Florida but never got a chance to go MDing. Glad you got some good finds to bring home.

It's too bad that they had to waste a Trojan so they could search for the toe ring they obviously lost while just walking in the moonlight.
