So to get y'all up to date. I have a male and female specimen in the freezer that match this newly found nest🤘🤠🤘🤠
Now to start eyeing for a nice tree crotch and get the woman reading and sharping her tax skills👍

Today's detector question........... What's the point of these Small coils? I keep reading bigger coil deeper penetration so why would you want to loose that? Surface hunts? Shallow park hunts?
I still haven't figured out my stock setup so not trying anything different yet. Just crosses my mind alot, on why?

Areas like curb strips, park benches, etc. with lots of metal litter. Smaller coverage to help separate targets. If you hunt woods, or beaches, or open ground mostly, you can get by without. Along the baselines of old ball fields it helps going around all of the pulltabs. IMO.

Much better, added 3.5" to the arm cuff. Nothing fancy but feels much better🤘
Going to field test a little longer then rivet it down🤘

Boy has life got busy this winter. Not much time for anything fun but hoping that changes before summer.
Had a customer give me a pretty cool "tip" yesterday and wanted to share with y'all.
He said they all came from the same property not far from here and that he would take me there if I wanted👍

I don't know what I'm looking at but I think it's very cool 🤘

But I do keep my head on a swivel out here. Picking persimmons a couple days ago down the road and spotted this on the walk back to the truck🤘

What are you going to do with the persimmons? I'm tempted to try making jelly out of some here, but there are so many seeds I question whether it would be worth the effort.

Laying right on top a smallish rock in the sun 🤠 couldn't believe it.

I make wild fruit wines.
This bucket is for my woman, she will run them through a mill and make Persimmon Bread pudding for the holidays.
I picked a bucket full of Prickly pear last week. Going to try making wine with them. A friend of mines daughter makes prickly pear preserves 👍 wanna see a lot of seeds,ha, break one of them open 👀😬🕺

Neighbor got a an old machine handed down to him and I took him in the woods yesterday to test it out. We only had about half an hour but both learned a lot👍🏻
