I lived in Uvalde for two yrs.Yep,we had the spiders! But the climate was perfect!We could walk around the block without one mosquitto to bother us.

Love those TEXAS sunsets, once while going to work I actually saw a spider crossing the road I was doing about 40

How ironic to find these photo's. I was just going to tell you that your avatar grosses me out. I live in Washington State, and I'll take all the rain and grey skies any day, as long as I don't have to deal with any disgusting spiders like that! Nice roses and cool arrowheads, but I could really do without gross spider pics :P
