NOTE: I removed the video because I'm no longer sure the test was accurate.

I've discovered that the detector falses on the test pot I used but not on the bare ground itself. This may also explain the poorer depth in my test pot. This machine should be tested in a warmer climate in undisturbed soil.

I sold my Tejon or I would test it.

Maybe somebody else who has one will do a video.

In about 9 days I'll do a video with the Garrett Infinium and redo the F-2 tests. I'll prepare a larger test area.

Great video as usual. I really enjoy all your videos, but I'm pretty sure that the Cibola would sound off like an air raid siren with a penny at five inches, in any dirt.

I can not help but think that you have a defective F2.
The way it gives a signal with a slight bump of the coil and the very low numbers displayed on the target ID just don't make sense. Did you buy it new? If you did maybe you should send it back for repairs. Just my thoughts. Merf

I can not help but think that you have a defective F2.
The way it gives a signal with a slight bump of the coil and the very low numbers displayed on the target ID just don't make sense. Did you buy it new? If you did maybe you should send it back for repairs. Just my thoughts. Merf

I may send it back to check but in air tests it works perfectly.

As it is now it's worthless as a tone machine.

Yes, I bought it new.

I was wondering if someone would ask me that question

At this point I can say it isn't what I had hoped it would be. BUT, I'm no longer sure the POT test is accurate. This machine should be tested outside in actual ground.

I'd sure like to hear from others. One person doesn't make for complete review.

NOTE: I tested the detector on bare ground and there it doesn't false when I bump the coil. I guess the problem is with the pot.

To get a more accurate test result one should use it on the ground.

It might get better depth too Badger---Sure hope so. Even a wider pot might help.

I think maybe the pot of soil being smaller than the coil might be confusing the small, high powered ,computer circuitry that they are using now.
