testing gold well sluice

::)

For a very first post it seems suspiciously over the top to me..
That's really laying it on a little too thick. Must be another plant.

Longest first post I have ever seen in any forum.

So I pretty much had the exact same experience with the new gold hog matting yesterday. We installed it into the Highbanker and ran all of the concentrates we had and everything else we had left over from all of our trips. We set it up with a letrap sluice below it and put the material through just as fast as we could. After running everything through and panning it out there were only two flakes of micron gold in the entire letrap. Out of the letrap was about a half a pan of black sands and out of the gold hog matting was maybe five or six table spoon fulls of black sands and maybe one tablespoon of light gravel less than 1/4 inch. We set up our matting with one piece of UR mat, three Razorback, and two more UR. Each are six inches in length and were pretty easy to put together after watching the video on the website. I'm sold. If I'm not running in heavy gravel I will be running the matting and I will be making a mat that is meant for heavy gravel. Just my two cents and a minor review. Cost for two thirty six inch lengths of mat to be cut into six ten inch sections...... $90

Know what you mean.... I get those results too just by running straight vortex mat in my Keene A-52. I end up with slightly more black sand than is reported with the "aluminum wonder" but for the difference in price I think I can live with it.

GOLD WELL,

Enough is enough... If someone wants to buy the sluice they will but to keep bringing all the threads to the top of each forum is a joke. If sluice is that good let those that buy the sluice brag and promote it. Looks cool and I am impressed with the quality but thats about it. Seen all the videos but did not make me want to open up my wallet.

As an experiment I think I will recess staggered rows of threaded bottle caps into some vinyl soffiting that I use for a drop riffle sluice and see how that works out. :tongue3:

hi goodguy......just want to clarify since I have a couple minutes...since your the goodguy...im hoping you can pass this along to all the sharks on your little forum here......I don't know those guys from adam...yes im based in Wickenburg but am not there much...im also not a salesman and can care less if they sell any.....infact I don't care about any off that crap.....but what was very disturbing is I really thought I share what was a great experience with my fellow gold digging brothers....and you know what ill never even think of doing it ever again.....yes true I thought it would be good for those guys and wrote a sincere quote that took me about 30 min with my crippled mining finger.....I cant believe the attack I was put under and yet not one quote was true that was aimed at me......its a know wonder I keep to myself....and after this experience ill continue to do just that...I get great gold everyday and have a great time doing it...I was beached yesterday and to day because of the winds and thought id do something nice......never again...just a terrible experience...and I plan on telling treasurenet just that...as for my fellow biker friend with his LOL because I deleted the article was just another kick in the groin...I ride a real chopper and am a true brother....SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RED AND WHITE.......good luck to you all ..ill leave you to yourselves

I was just trying to make light of the situation. Not attacking you. You can't take internet stuff personal. I thought the mods got you for advertising or something. You'll notice that I posted a good review too and never put you down. As for being a biker I'd have to say that you need to pull up your big girl panties and let some of this roll off your back and move on. There is a lot of drama from another forum about the gold well and you kinda got caught in it. Sorry about that. Ride hard brotha.

Sorry for mistaking your post for another attempt at bypassing the forums rule against advertising on the discussion threads.

Hey don't sell yourself short you would make an excellent salesman or ad man. I mean you wrote such a glowing report so full of excitement and buzz words that any ad man would certainly be proud of.

You have to understand our honest mistake that for a first post yours did seem out of the ordinary.
Stick around and join in the discussions we aren't so bad once you get to know us and we would definitely enjoy hearing about your personal prospecting adventures.

Welcome to T-Net! and I do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Sincerely,
GG~

Oh my...To sum this all up in one sentence, "you guys were mean to me and I'm telling treasure net"... Really Sundance, really???

Some good friends of mine who I only see once a year during the motorcyle rally in Sturgis would never SCREAM about their membership status with the 81. And you are spouting off about it on this internet forum. Using words like "chopper" and "true brother". Tells me all I need to know....... oh yeah, almost forgot......LOL!!!!!!!
