Finally had some time to test my new bluemax 4x6 shooter coil.
I did briefly test it the day it came in the mail, and found a 1917 wheat(no pic as I can't seem to find it now )
Today I hit my yard again. It has been hunted many times with my stock coil,
and the targets are getting slim.
There are a few trashy patches that are difficult with a larger coil.
I am impressed by the 4x6 shooters ability to get a signal on coins and other
non ferrous targets that are laying very close or up against rusty iron targets.
I found 2 wheat's, both 1940, and a 1965 quarter (so close yet again still looking for my first silver quarter) the coins all had junk in with them masking them from my larger coil.
I have quite a few trashy spots at other sites I will be using this new coil on
and it gets a thumbs up from me
HH,
Donny
UPDATE I found the 1917 wheat it ties my oldest dated wheat penny
