Tesoro Detectors...coil choices? Which one??!

Hi Kitz....thanks for the info..I haven't tried my Mojave on the beach yet..but a friend was asking if I know of anyone that had used a large DD coil on the Mojave for saltwater beach hunting...

I don't have any coils besides the stock 7" for mine, so can't say how a large DD would work. My only concern would be that the internal GB settings might not be optimum for a larger coil.

Kind of funny how DDs have typically been viewed as the "better" coils, and most manufacturers have bundled a concentric so users would upgrade to the DD. Tesoro has turned that around. My Vaq came bundled with the DD, and now I want to upgrade to a concentric.

Grab the 5.75 concentric. It's almost like you have a whole different detector compared to 8x11. I'm thinking of selling my 8x11. Have not used it once yet this season, not at all last season. Gave it a good go and wanted to like it, just did not happen though.

I've been looking for an 8x11 for my modded Conquistador, what are you looking to get for the coil?
