My first itme out with my brand new Chinese detector was a bust! I hunted for a good 30 minutes in my front yard and found nothing! Did not get one hit on a worthy target of any kind. Also didn't get any junk signals though and thought I was doing pretty good. Next time out I turned the machine on! I had been pushing the pinpoint button! Monty (Manual?,we don't need no stinkin' manual)!

Monty, think of how long your batteries will last ya if you hunt the first way you did!!

Great story! Thanks.

HH, ya'll!

Chinese detector? Man, you were desperate! ?;D

I have setting in the room next to me a Chinese MD 3009 I purchased off ebay a few years back for $65 (total cost). It can detect a buried U.S. quarter at 9 to 10 inches with no problem. I believe they copied the Fisher CZ series because it's very similar.

Look on the bright side. Just look at all the experience you now have with the pinpoint button.
Practice makes perfect.

AHAHAHAHA!!!!

Poor poor Monty.....

:D

I didn't buy the detector, I got it as a present. I soon traded it off for a USA made detector. Monty
