Has anyone found nuggets with a tajon and a lobo coil? I know I could get a lobo for the same money, but I would not expect to go prospecting often and while I could use my Tiger shark in all metal mode, the higher frequency and sensitivity of the Tejon should find smaller gold!

I've seen post where others have done it. May not be the perfect prospecting machine, but it'll work.

Sure luvsdux, and that's where the skill of the operator would come in to the picture... Having started out with manual ground balancing and not liking that my DeLeon is lacking and the fact that lobo is also lacking in that respect has influenced my thinking... Also the advantage of having the right coil for the task has proven to me anyway, to be often more important than the detector, at least for finding coins and jewelry!
