Something for you paleontologists out there! These were recently found in northern Coconino County, AZ. They were laying in a row and they're hard as rock and were in an area littered with petrified wood fragments. They certainly have the appearance of teeth, but from what? Any input would be appreciated.

Can you get a picture from the "top" with the "roots" facing down? Sometimes on teeth there are certain wear petterns and a "grain" to them.

Camel teeth?

Don't really look fossilized. Teeth are already "rock hard"

I've added one photo of a top view with roots down. The largest are roughly 5\8" wide X 7\8" long X 1" tall. I referenced their hardness to the feel of the petrified wood found in the same area.

It is hard to tell the size,I would think it would be some kind of goat or deer, possibly desert bighorn sheep. The teeth have a look of something that chews its cud, to grind the teeth in that fashion.Deer goats and cows all do that.
