After blanking on the hammered coins yesterday, five fell to the Deus this afternoon. The star by far, and one off my wish list a complete Tealby silver penny. These were minted for Henry II 1158-80, before short cross pennies. It may not look it, but it's a good example for this issue. Only ever had cut coins of this type, so well pleased with this. Will post some better pictures tomorrow.

This is the only full one I have found, found plenty cut halfs, but none no were near as nice as Robs.

Hello Colin, nice one :thumbsup:. Yes they are usually not so round. Took a long time to find a full one. Guess it just goes to show "what goes around, comes around" :laughing7:
