No silver this trip but I did have my favorite hunting partner by my side. We found a few goodies and had a blast. He found the little brass thingy with the shield and D&M stamped on it. If anyone has a suggestion please let know what they think it could be. It rang up in the silver range on my Deus with my relic program. I was really exited for him thinking it was going to be a shinny silver coin. I did stumble across several buttons and a very nice shoe buckle piece. Wish it were whole but oh well. Found the lead which is typical for this site. It is near the Battle of Camden 1780 so a lot of musket balls and fragments found on my property. Not sure if the brooch is period but a neat little find. Thanks for looking and good luck out there.
