I was going through my other finds for the weekend. (The less obvious stuff) and cleaned up some interesting items. The one iron piece looks a lot like the lock off a gun. I would also love to ID the round brass piece. Some people would throw this in the "scrap" pile but i never chunk anything until i know what it is. You guys are awesome, thanks in advance for any help.

I looked at the brass piece again this AM and it is marked Telechron inc. Ashland Mass, turns out it's an electric clock motor so no help needed with that.

Item one looks like a broke pot hook. Item two you ID'd. Item three looks like an ox shoe. Item four is a broken accordian or concertina reed. No clue on the other pics without more info on the site and the relics.

Doesn't look like a gun lock to me, but it's really great that you're posting for a second opinion before you throw away. Lots of great items get tossed out by diggers every year for lack of a correct ID.

Yeah, now that I look at it it doesn't look like a gun lock. I've found some good stuff at this site so better safe than sorry....

Thanks for the help. It's a site with finds ranging from the 1700s to early 1900s. Just double checking this stuff to be on the safe side...
