I found this I thought it was a tree tag. I know there was a company named Dodge Brothers what would this be for??? Thanks for any help Tommy Its about 1 inch high and about 2 inches long 20170812_165747.webp20170812_165737.webp

A2coins, very cool find! Perhaps look at old aerial photos of the area and/or talk with some old timers about it to help answer your question. Who knows maybe more parts are buried deep there.

I have a 1919 Screenside Delivery, but it is in storage.
Not too sure mine has one of those.
Most of the time the manufactures would put these plates on the drivers door threshold.
Just back of the front edge of the seat so they wouldn't get stepped on and wear out.

As best I can tell, the Dodge Brothers company introduced the Business Coupe in 1922 - 23. I believe the 'Brothers' part of the name was dropped when the Chrysler Corporation bought the company in 1928. I know they continued to build Business Coupes into the 1950's but they were badged with the name Dodge only.

So you tag is from 1922 - 28. I looked at pics of several early 20's DB Business Coupes and I did not see a similar tag on any of them. I suppose it could have been attached to the frame and was simply not visible in the pictures.
