a friend of mine has a sword he got after his father died(sorry no pic. at this time). on the handle it is stamped P.4. underneath the P.4. is stamped N. and underneath the N. is stamped 182. there is also a very lightly stamped 2 in between and just above the P.4.. it appears as if the 2 was stamped first and then the P.4. was stamped over it. the other stamp i see is on the blade up near the handle(just underneath the hand guard or whatever that is called) its in the shape of a police badge(?) with a star stamped in the middle of the badge. to me it looks to be some sort of calvary sword but im not savy in the sword department. if i can get a pic. on here i will do so if possible. any general info. would be greatly appreciated................thanks, mark43
