Love finding unconventional tools that would never make it to the Overstreet book! The ingenuity and craftsmanship of the early indigenous people's is nothing short of amazing.
The front edge crescent blade is intricately cut and deep green in the right light and the finger placement on either side of the stem tail has been smoothed out to perfectly fit each finger for long comfortable use...

Must be why you're a Doctor, and I'm not. I just see a broken rock, and also I can't envision it's usage. Nice find.

Sorry Doc, a cool rock but not an artifact. Creek chatter and not knapping evidence. Ergonomics are coincidental. Never try to convince anyone any piece is an artifact based on that.
