Hi all !
July 5th, if you live near a beach with a fireworks show , it's the biggest metal detecting day of the year. Missed last year , crashed a dirt bike on July 2nd and broke my leg. Wasn't going to miss this year !
Got out early but there was already five guys on the beach detecting. So there i am between two other guys detecting twenty feet away , when i get i get a nice solid mid tone. I'm thinking pull tabs give a mid tone with a chirp. This was a solid tone. As im thinking that and shaking the sand out of the scoop , i see a shiny round thing staring at me. I guess the expression on my face was obvious because the guy next to me yells "YOU FOUND SOMETHING !" And yes i did ! A Michael Zoughaib Jewelers 18k white and regular gold ring with 2 small diamonds ! 5.5 grams , acid tested good.
Here's todays haul , $3.68 , swim goggels , Hotwheels car , fishing weight , house key and the ring.
Third gold ring this year !
